Dr. Chanhsamone Phongoudome received his PhD in forest and environment sciences. From 1994 to 1997 he worked as the Deputy Director of the National Forest Inventory and Planning Division. From 2004 to 215, he was the Director of Forest Research Centre. Since 2014, he has acted as the Deputy Director General of National Agriculture and Forestry Research Institute.
